How Long Does Morpheus8 Last?

Morpheus8 treatments combine microneedling with radiofrequency energy to remodel and contour the face and body. This fractional treatment penetrates deep into the skin and stimulates collagen production for a smoother and sleeker appearance. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, the building blocks will reorganize themselves in a natural anti-aging process. There is little to no damage to the dermis and this procedure provides an extremely uniform effect.
Morpheus8 body targets subdermal layers of the skin and tissue to remodel collagen on the face and body. This fractional tissue treatment simulates the production of collagen in the underlying layers of the dermis. Morpheus8’s modular tips enable procedures to be customized for large or small body areas.
Does Morpheus8 really tighten skin?
Yes- Morpheus8 penetrates deep into the sub-dermal layers of the skin which causes the body to react by producing more collagen in the area over time. This stimulation of collagen production then in turn tightens the skin which also smooths out the wrinkles. Therefore your best results will actually be a few months after your treatments as your body produces more and more collagen for the skin.

How long does it take to see results with Morpheus8?
You will notice the first visible results within a few days. Initially, your treatment area will be more swollen and possibly red after the treatment. Once that has subsided, some people notice a smoother skin surface right away. Typically the most noticeable results appear after three weeks. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment as the additional collagen is produced in the area. This is where before and after photos are fun to see the progression and really be able to notice all of the changes that have happened.
How long will my face be swollen after Morpheus8?
The first three days following your Morpheus treatment are your healing days as you skin regroups from the treatment. Sometimes there is scabbing where the needles went into the skin that only last for 1-3 days most often. As each day passes, the swelling will decrease more and more. By day three, most people will have just slight swelling and can do most everything they were doing beforehand.
Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure after the Mopheus8 treatment is done. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad-spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process.
Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.
