By now it is likely you are aware that collagen is extremely important for keeping your skin looking and being radiant. There are many creams and supplements that you can take that promise better skin but are there treatments that actually help your body produce more collagen on its own to make you glow? Yes friend, there are indeed!
We here at Perich Aesthetics have our favorites that we find to really make a difference. Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is a device that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology for fractional resurfacing that stimulates collagen production. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, the building blocks will reorganize themselves in a natural anti-aging process. There is little to no damage to the dermis and this procedure provides an extremely uniform effect.
Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. Areas of the face and body that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration or acne scarring are suitable for treatment. The most commonly treated areas include the face and neck, as well as the abdomen which is beneficial for tightening loose skin with underlying fatty tissue.
Depending on your Morpheus8 treatment regime you can expect to have between 1-3 sessions. You will notice the first visible results within a few days. Typically the most noticeable results appear after three weeks. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.
Microneedling is a scientifically proven method to reduce wrinkles and rebuild collagen. During the procedure, we insert a matrix of micro pins to renew deeper layers of the skin.
Radiofrequency (RF) energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled manner to revitalize the collagen. This treatment helps to improve skin complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance.
Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment.

Sculptra® is one of our favorite products since it stimulates the body to produce its own type 1 collagen over time, giving you a permanent result, unlike filler which completely dissolves over time. As we continue to age, it is recommended to repeat Sculptra® injections once per year to maintain the best results.⠀
Sculptra® fights wrinkles and sagging skin and reduces fine lines for a more youthful appearance. You will see the best results eight weeks after initial treatment. Sculptra® is an injectable FDA-approved dermal filler for wrinkles and folds on the face that provides a younger appearance. It was first used to treat lipoatrophy that causes facial fat loss that results in sunken cheeks and deep folds and indentations on the face. T
he main ingredient in Sculptra® is poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It’s classified as a collagen stimulator that provides long-lasting, natural-looking results that can last up to two years. This results in a softer and more youthful appearance. You may notice immediate results, but it can take a few months to see the full results of your treatment. Dr. Perich will work with you to determine the number of treatment sessions needed to achieve the best result. The average regimen consists of three injections spread out over three or four months.
Sculptra® is a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment — so downtime is minimal. If you have a demanding work or family schedule, you’ll be able to get back to your regular activities much faster than surgical procedures
